tHIS IS ME... since then...

I've trained in music, dance and graphic arts...

I started work as a freelance graphic designer; had a long career as a ballet dancer at the Royal Ballet of Flanders, the Ballet du Nord, Scottish Ballet and as Principal dancer with Northern Ballet; I later retrained in stage design.

Nowadays, I mix medias! One day, I create logos or copy and paste text/images for a book; the next I am drawing, painting or taking photographs both on and off stage or outdoors.

I could then be on a project as the production designer of a film; or as the set and costume designer of a live show such as a ballet, opera, play or musical.

My work is extensively done on my mac! I enjoy processing my photos by adding textures and filters, many of them in HDR. For the creative process of illustrations, logos, stage set and costumes, I usually start with some hand drawings/sketches before moving to digital where I can push things further by playing with shapes, colours and by creating my own textures for the final rendering.
